In a couple of recents studies, findings showed that 50 percent of smokers will continue to smoke even after a diagnosis of smoking related cancer, and that 70 percent of cancers in Massachusetts men are related to tobacco use, particularly smoking. With all the scientific studies that relate cancer to smoking, it’s surprising that so many people continue to pay $5.00 a pack, and more, to expose themselves to a known carcinogen.
